Senior portraits are coming up, and while shopping for school supplies, I decided to drop by for a few random bits of makeup as well. My mascara has been getting old, and I didn't have any actual lipstick, so I thought I'd pick some up.

I don't have much to say about the mascara because it's not amazing but it serves its purpose. It goes on very smoothly, but you have to be careful or else your lashes stick together. 3.5/5
I was looking for more of a deep, true cherry red, but my mom thought it wouldn't look good. These two are a bit too pinkish and not intense enough for my tastes, but they're still quite pretty and will do for now. The Maybelline is a bright ruby red, and the Revlon is more pink. I can't say much about the quality because I have no idea what to grade it on, so based purely on looks and what I'm looking for, I give the Maybelline a 4/5 and the Revlon a 3.5/5. Now I just need go get a better red lipliner to use with both of them.

I might just have to go pick up "Wine with Everything", I am so excited for fall and to start rocking a darker lip!
