Business & Brunch

I have my fair share of concerns about DC, but one aspect that I cannot complain about is the brunch culture. Not only is there tons of yummy food — chicken and waffles, french toast, donuts, and more — it's also a great opportunity for networking. Here, a group of CITC friends and Kyle from freshman year met up with Kathie Westpheling, a Cal alumnus who works in public health in the area. We went to Cava Mezze, and I was enjoying the food so much that I completely forgot to save pictures. Afterwards, we went to District Donuts, which specializes in recreating foods in donut form. Luckily I took a picture of my key lime pie donut before I ate it all. 10/10 would recommend (but watch your budget, it's easy to get carried away!). ◊
