Food Friday #001

If you don't know already, I am a huge fan of food. I feel extremely lucky to have a high metabolism that let's me eat basically whatever I want without easily gaining weight. It's balanced out by being a picky eater, and also the fact that I get extremely nauseous from eating anything more than small amounts of fat, but I'm glad I don't have to count calories every time I feel hungry. Since I don't have an Instagram, I thought I'd share some of my favorite foods this week here on this blog! Please excuse the crappy collage; please let me know in the comments if you know of any good collage making programs. I hope you enjoy!

»Monday: Heart Toast

I woke up pretty late on Monday, so I was feeling quite mellow and happy. There wasn't much available for breakfast, so I thought I'd make it more interesting by spreading the raspberry jam onto the toast in the shape of a heart. It's just the little things in life that you've got to do to make yourself happy sometimes.

»Tuesday: Cake Cup Milkshake
In the afternoon, the rest of my family was at work or out with friends, so with nothing better to do, I thought I'd make a milkshake. A milkshake under my definition is extremely simple, just milk and ice cream and flavor. I usually do about 4 parts ice cream and 3 parts milk, with an extra ingredient for flavor. This time, I added an ice cream cake cup, because I actually really like the taste. When everything was blended, I could still taste it, and it was delicious!

»Wednesday: Fruit Snacks

I rediscovered my inner child with these little fruit snacks during the 3rd Grade Summer Speech & Debate Workshops. I love these because they don't taste too syrupy and they have gushy juice in the center. As always, my favorite is lemon, but all of the flavors were surprisingly quite good.

»Thursday: Nilla Wafers

Like the fruit snacks, I rediscovered my love of Nilla wafers during the workshops. They just taste so good even just by themselves, but while searching for an image on Google, I discovered a plethora of recipes that involve these delicious disks. I want to try some, but I'd probably end up eating all of them plain.

»Friday: Palermo's Primo Thin Supreme Pizza

Costco must be having a sale on these, because there are at least three boxes of these pizzas in the freezer right now, but I don't mind because they taste so good! Everything, even the bell peppers, taste so fresh and robust. I at the entire thing for dinner and I look forward to eating more.

And if you've noticed in the title, I've included numbers! I'm hoping to make this a series, so as long as I have somewhat interesting foods to post, I'll keep doing these. Have a great day everyone, and enjoy the eats! ◊
