Overdue Birthday Thank You's

I realize that my birthday was weeks ago, but better late than never right?

FEELS!

Hi everyone, so as you know from my last post I just got a new drawing tablet and I'm obsessed! Still, even with a nice tablet and all, I can't draw a human to save my life. I'm also still trying to figure out a casual drawing style, and since I want to do a few small comics, there's the issue of what the characters should look like if I can't even remotely make them look like people.

Then, inexplicably today, I was hit by a random and tremendous wave of feels. My brain simply couldn't process the feelings through words, so I decided to draw them down. I don't know if any of this makes sense, but I'm just taking this non-seriously and giving it a try. Let me know what you think of it in the comments please!

What I like most about these is probably the facial expression. I'm able to portray that pretty consistently. These sketches each took about two minutes, so they're really basic, but again I'm just trying to find my style of drawing. The next time I do a similar comic, the style will probably be drastically different. I really don't know where I was going with this post, but I thought this would just be a little fun thing to share (as I continue putting off more overdue and important posts). Wacom Intuos Tablet Unboxing & Review

I finally got a digital drawing tablet and I am completely obsessed. In this post I'd just like to share the process of unboxing and review a few aspects of the device. The picture quality is kind of bad because I used my phone to take pictures, and it was only set to 0.3 megapixels instead of 5 megapixels (grrr... but oh well).

Epic Shoe Haul!

So the update post isn't really working out because so much time has gone by that I've forgotten a lot of the things I've wanted to say. However, I will be doing a reference post about my stay at the hospital and an update on my internship sometime this week for sure, as well as some belated thank you posts for all the lovely people who wished me a happy birthday and gave me cool stuff. You guys are the best, and I love you very much :)

This post, however, is about to take a very materialistic turn. Long story short, I didn't have proper shoes for my internship, and my casual wear shoes were literally falling apart, so my mom finally took me shopping, and, as there was a sale at Payless, things kind of got carried away. This was probably the biggest shopping spree of my entire life, at least for shoes, in terms of items bought. Without further ado, may I present my epic shoe haul!

#obsessed: Boom Clap – Charli XCX

So much has happened in these last few weeks that I really don't know where to begin. I have started a summary update post, but it's been hard to write about actual things at the moment, so here's just a really quick #obsessed post. I loved Charli XCX's vocals in Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," so it's no surprise that her voice is still just as addicting in this song from the TFIOS soundtrack. I heard that the movie wasn't as good as the book, but I still want to go see it. Enjoy! ◊
